P.J. Hare Ltd sells direct to customers in England and Wales. Two sales engineers are backed up by design and project engineers from the Company's Press and Tooling Divisions. Though Hare presses are very versatile the Company takes great care to ensure a customer gets the right Model and specification for his work, and following delivery a free commissioning^* and training visit makes sure the press is used to its optimum.

	Mick Cox, the Service Manager, has three service engineers to take care of Hare's 3000 customers - many of whom have no maintenance staff. A major element in the Company's success has been the build quality of its products, and the availability of technical expertise when required. Spares requirements and service queries are always dealt with promptly.
The Company offers a service agreement for presses whose 12 months warranty has expired. Benefits include a 15% discount on parts, labour and travel. Also available are conversions and upgrades for older presses.

To ensure our older presses continue to offer premium performance, we have developed the following upgrades for our HP range:

PLC Conversion to replace original solid state controls

Light screen upgrade, replacing existing guards with latest generation equipment

High pressure filter to improve filtration efficiency and improve protection of the hydraulic system
